December 6 & 7: At two days of AKC Obedience and Rally Trials put on by the Valley Hills Obedience Club in Van Nuys, CA, Dijon passed Rally Excellent B and Rally Advanced B twice which gives her 2 legs towards the Rally Advanced Excellent (RAE) title (10 legs are needed to obtain this title). London passed Rally Advanced B twice which finished her Rally Advanced (RA) title. Kaywin passed Rally Advanced A twice and now needs one more pass to earn the Rally Advanced (RA) title. Kaywin also passed Novice B obedience on Saturday, with a score of 192, which gives her one leg towards her Companion Dog (CD) title. She did really well on Sunday also, but for some reason got up on the sit stay! Oh, well, we'll try again next year!

November 29: At the West Los Angeles Obedience Trail Club's UKC Obedience Trials, Dijon finished her UKC Companion Dog (U-CD) title by earning her 3rd leg plus a spare!

October 31, November 1 & 2: We spent 3 days at the GRCGLA Specialty and follow-on All-Breed shows (San Gabriel Valley Kennel Club & Antelope Valley Kennel Club). It was a pretty good weekend. London finished her Companion Dog (CD) title and also earned one leg towards her Rally Advanced (RA) title with a First Place. Dijon finished her Rally Excellent (RE) title with a Second and Third Place plus one extra leg for good measure! Athos earned his Rally Novice (RN) title in 3 straight shows with a Second Place at the Specialty!!

October 4: At the National Specialty for the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club - US, Faith, pulled off a "biggie" and won Winners Bitch for 5 points. That finished her American (AKC) Championship!!! What a thrill!!! She was handled by her breeder and co-owner Linda Fitzmaurice of Javahill Tollers. Faith is now officially known as Am. CH., U-CH. Javahill Faith Of The Heart.

August 23: At the Santa Barbara Kennel Club in Santa Barbara, CA, Kaywin & London were entered in the Rally Novice B class and earned their 3rd legs which finishes their Rally Novice (RN) titles! Dijon earned her first Rally Excellent (RE) leg. London also earned her second leg in Obedience Novice B, so she only needs 1 more leg to earn her Companion Dog (CD) title!

London after completing her UCI Int. Championship on 8/17/2008!August 16 & 17: At the IABCA UCI International Shows in Trabuco Canyon, CA, London earned her UCI International Champion (UCI Int. CH.) title with four V-1 ratings and a Group I Best Bred By. Truly was at the same shows and also earned four V-1 ratings in the Veterans Class. This earned her the UCI International Veteran Champion (UCI Int. A-CH.) title!

Firefly before going into the ring on July 20, 2008.July 19 & 20: The Star Crowned Gang attended the Conejo Kennel Club AKC shows in Oxnard, CA. It was a pretty good weekend:
-- Firefly was Reserve Winners Bitch both days from the Open Bitch class. This was her first weekend out with a handler.
-- Dijon passed Rally Advanced B both days which completed her Rally Advanced (RA) title! She also participated in the Open A obedience class and did well but we need to work on her broad jump before she'll start earning legs towards her title.
-- London passed the Rally Novice B class both days for her first two legs towards the Rally Novice (RN) title! She also earned her first leg towards her Companion Dog (CD) title on Saturday. She actually showed better on Sunday, but unfortunately got up on the Sit Stay.
-- Kaywin passed the Rally Novice B class both days for her first two legs towards the Rally Novice (RN) title!

July 6: Covey & Dijon both qualified for the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) Certificate of Conformation Assessment (CCA) at the NorCal Golden Retriever Club event in Lafayette, CA.

May 3 & 4: At the United Kennel Club (UKC) obedience trials & conformation shows in Lucerne Valley, CA, Dijon earned two legs towards her UKC Companion Dog (U-CD) title! Firefly finished her UKC Champion (U-CH.) title by going Best Female, Best of Breed, & Group 3 at the first show! Kaywin also finished her UKC Champion (U-CH.) title by winning Best Female three times & Best of Breed twice. She also won a Group 3 and a Group 4! Leeloo & Rutan had their first ring experience as Novice Puppies. Sister Leeloo beat her brother at the two shows they were in for Best Golden Puppy!

April 5: At the Sierra Tuolumne Kennel Club AKC show in Merced, CA, Faith was Winners Bitch & Best of Opposite Sex for 4 points!

February 24: At the Del Sur Kennel Club AKC show in Del Mar, CA, Faith was Best of Winners & Best of Breed over Specials for 2 points!

January 27: At the Orange Empire Dog Club AKC show in San Bernardino, CA, Faith was Best of Winners for 1 point!
