Eve was so strong. After raising her 2nd litter of pups to 8+ weeks old with no problems, she suddenly got sick. I knew it was serious as I was driving her to the emergency vet, but thought possibly a closed pyo. Never would have guessed she had cardiac tumors necrotizing and causing her to go septic. The ER vet said they were probably growing for months. There was nothing to be done that would prevent the inevitable and unneeded suffering. Love, respect, and miss you Eve.
